AFTER THE SALE
An Ongoing Process

This section reviews the last step in the investment sales process — service after the sale. Registered Representatives have the important role of providing service after the sale. Providing ongoing client service is an integral part of selling investments. It is also a good business practice that helps Registered Representatives establish and maintain a good relationship with clients.

Changes happen over time, such as a child entering college, or a client retiring. Therefore, a Registered Representative should meet annually with clients for annual reviews to make sure their investment selections still match their objectives or to find out if there are adjustments that need to be made to their investment strategies.
