- No addresses may be used if they're intended to mislead about the agent or broker's identity, location, or licensing status.
- No terminology similar to the names of governmental agencies or programs may be used in insurance policy trade names if these tend to confuse, deceive, or mislead prospective buyers.
- Advertisements used by advisers, producers, brokers, or solicitors for insurance policies must have the insurer's written approval.
- Advertisements may not imply that consumers are entitled to group rates when the policy advertised is being sold on an individual basis at regular rates.
- No advertisement for a public event where insurance products will be sold may use the terms "seminar," "class," or "informational meeting," unless the words "and insurance sales presentation" immediately follow in the same type size and font.
