In-Home Solicitations: 24-Hour Notice Requirement
This section applies to the sale of life insurance and annuities to seniors age 65 and older.
- Anyone meeting with a senior in the senior's home must notify the prospect about the meeting at least 24 hours before the first meeting.
- If the senior has had an insurance relationship with an agent and requests a meeting in the senior's home the same day, a written notice must delivered to the senior before the meeting.
