Level of Benefit
The amount of income to be provided while the insured is disabled. (Limits based on income appear in your Marketing Guide.)
Elimination or Waiting Period
A specified number of days at the beginning of each disability period, during which no disability income benefits are paid. Most Ohio National disability income policies offer waiting period options of 30, 60, 90, 180, or 365 days.
Benefit Period
The period of time, after satisfaction of the elimination period, during which benefits will be paid. Most Ohio National disability income policies offer benefit period options to age 65, or age 67, and 5, 2, or 1 year(s).
