The Data Taker is designed to help you learn as much as possible about the prospect's personal, financial, and business situations. This information is valuable not only in the estate planning process, but also in identifying cross-selling opportunities. Accordingly, it is to your benefit to complete the Data Taker as fully as possible.

Data Taker & Current Clients

There may be situations in which you do not need the detailed information provided by the Data Taker. For example, the estate planning prospect may already be a client for whom you have fairly complete information. In this case, you can use the Request for Estate Analysis Form (Form 2490) as your information gathering form.
