No estate planning or insurance recommendations can be made without knowing the facts of the client's case. The fact-finding stage of the estate planning process is arguably one of the most important steps.

Fact-finding is achieved through comprehensive meetings with the prospective client, the objectives of which are to build rapport, discover concerns, wants and desires of the prospect, gather the information needed to analyze the prospect's estate, estimate the estate liquidity needed to pay estate taxes and administration costs, and determine the need for life insurance to meet estate liquidity needs.
