If you were to apply that uncomplicated test to everything you think, say, or do, an intimate knowledge of a code of ethics would be unnecessary, because you would, implicitly, be in conformance with it. Anyone can put that test into practice; every approach to high ethical standards has honesty as its cornerstone.

As noted, senior Americans face serious issues involving a number of areas – insurance, financial security, housing, health, legal, social. The problem is, most professionals are qualified to help in only one or two areas. Financial advisers need to find a range of options and solve problems in the many areas that can affect senior life.
