Try this: Meet with your prospects and clients at work and ask to be introduced to as many of the other employees as you can. Pretty soon, the words "Who is that guy?" will be music to your ears. Also, many employees don't really know the value of the benefits their employers are providing. By positioning yourself as an employee benefits specialist who can, among other services, explain company-provided fringe benefits to new hires, you can perform a valuable service to the employer and employees, and solidify your relationship with the businessowner.
Then you can go to the employees and say, in effect:
- "Here's what you have."
- "Here's what you need."
- "See the gaps?"
- "Here's where to sign!"
