You should send a note thanking prospects for meeting with you, reviewing what was discussed, and confirming your next meeting. This contact also gives you an opportunity to report on follow-up issues.

Try this:

Dear Prospect:

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me this week. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results.

To confirm our next meeting, we'll be convening in my office at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 2. I will have some specific recommendations for you based on the information we discussed — and, yes, I do appreciate how important net cost will be in your decision. In addition, I will have the answer to your question concerning the accumulated earnings tax by then.

Best wishes,

Sales Associate

Note: It may be appropriate to include the follow-up
information in the body of the letter, instead
of waiting until the next meeting.
