- Information Gathering:
During an initial information gathering meeting with your client/prospect, you will identify the client/prospect's life insurance needs and wants, as well as his or her retirement and investment needs and wants. You will also discover your client's goals and motivations, and determine your client's comfort level with risk. You must complete an ONESCO-1 Form in order to identify and analyze a clients/prospect's investment needs and wants and match his or her needs and wants to suitable investment products.
- Calculate & Fund the Need/Want:
You will discover through your information gathering session what the time frame is when your client's income needs and wants will arrive. Also, you will calculate what dollar amount is needed in the future to meet his or her goals and the dollar amount he or she will need to invest in order to reach those goals.
